FLUX
About This Game
FLUX is a neon robot-wizard knockout brawl — the most physical, twitch-reaction game on PlayToPromote. Two charged wizards face off on a floating arcane platform suspended over the void: Jeff the Robot Wizard versus a hooded rival sorcerer. There are no projectiles and no health bars. The only way to win is to ram your opponent clean off the platform.
You pilot your wizard with a single thumb: flick in any direction to cast a dash. A quick flick is a light nudge; a long pull launches a full-power lunge. Every dash carries momentum, so positioning, timing and angles matter far more than mashing. Land a clean hit and your rival goes flying toward the edge — and the void.
The arena fights you too. A lethal rune-barrier closes inward over each round, shrinking the safe ground so there is nowhere to stall. Arcane bumper pylons carom fighters around like a pinball table, and egg-runes spawn that grant Spark, Ward and Overcharge — and feed a SUPER meter. Fill it and your next dash becomes a devastating, screen-shaking blast that can turn a losing round around in an instant.
Matches are best-of-three and rarely last more than a minute, with deterministic lockstep netcode keeping both players in perfect sync. It's instantly readable, endlessly satisfying, and built entirely around the platform's core promise: win the duel, and your promotional link is shown to the player you knocked off.
Quick Facts
How to Play
- 1Flick in any direction to dash — a quick flick nudges, a long pull launches.
- 2Arrows or WASD also dash on desktop.
- 3Ram your rival off the shrinking platform into the void to win the round.
- 4Carom off the arcane pylons and avoid the closing rune-barrier.
- 5Grab egg-runes for Spark, Ward and Overcharge — and to fill your SUPER meter.
- 6A full SUPER meter makes your next dash a devastating blast. Win two of three rounds.
Pro Tips
- Stay near the centre as the arena shrinks — the edges become death zones fast.
- Hit your rival from the centre-side so the knockback sends them outward, not inward.
- Save your SUPER for when your opponent is already near an edge for a near-guaranteed knockout.
- Use the bumpers on purpose — bounce into a rival to shove them off balance.
- Don't over-commit: a full-power dash that whiffs can carry you off the platform yourself.
