Welcome to PlayToPromote

When you lose a match, you will be automatically redirected to the winner's promotional link. This is how PlayToPromote works.

Ad blockers may interfere with the redirect. Please disable them for playtopromote.com for the best experience.

Players who block redirects will receive a 24-hour temporary ban. Fair play keeps the ecosystem working for everyone.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Who we are and acceptance

PlayToPromote (“we”, “us”, “the Service”) is operated by PlayToPromote (sole proprietor, Greece). We provide a website at playtopromote.com and a suite of browser-based mini-games. By creating an account, playing a match, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Global availability. The Service is operated from Greece (European Union) and is available to users worldwide, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Canada, Australia, and other countries. You are responsible for compliance with the laws that apply to you in your country of residence. We may, at our discretion, restrict access from any jurisdiction where operating the Service would be unlawful or impractical.

Minimum age. You must be at least the age of digital consent in your country of residence to use the Service. That is 16 in most EU countries, 13 in the United States (COPPA), and varies elsewhere. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. How play-to-promote works (informed consent)

The Service matches two or more players into a mini-game. Before each match, every player submits a promotional link — their own website, YouTube channel, stream, portfolio, product, or any URL they want others to visit. When a match ends:

  • The loser’s browser is redirected to the winner’s promotional link.
  • The winner’s statistics are incremented on the leaderboard.
  • Premium accounts may rotate between up to three promotional links per win.

By starting a match you give specific, informed consent to being redirected to another user’s URL as the core mechanic of the Service. You acknowledge that destination pages are user-submitted, third-party content and that we do not endorse, control, or guarantee them. You may close the destination tab at any time. We enforce a denylist of prohibited content categories (see Section 5).

3. Fair-play rules

Blocking the redirect, closing the browser to avoid it, or abandoning a match mid-play triggers a 24-hour temporary suspension. Repeat violations may result in longer or permanent suspension. The suspension applies at the account level and to anonymous sessions tied to the same browser.

  • No cheating, botting, scripting, or automating gameplay.
  • No denial-of-service, scraping, reverse-engineering, or interference with the Service.
  • One account per natural person. Multi-accounting to inflate any single account is prohibited.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Accounts and access

Sign-in is provided via Google or GitHub OAuth (Firebase Authentication). Anonymous play is also supported for casual access. You must keep your sign-in credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time from the Dashboard; deletion is processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Promotional-link content rules

By submitting a promotional URL, you represent and warrant that it:

  • Is owned by you or that you are authorised to promote it.
  • Is safe for work and lawful in the European Union.
  • Does not contain malware, phishing, scams, adult or sexual content, gambling content prohibited under Greek law, hate speech, harassment, or material that infringes any third-party right.
  • Does not attempt to bypass the redirect (no automatic downloads, fullscreen popups, or scripts that block the back button).

We enforce a denylist of prohibited domain patterns both client-side and server-side. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or replace any link at our sole discretion, and to suspend or terminate accounts that submit prohibited content.

6. Premium subscriptions

Premium is a monthly subscription processed by Stripe when enabled. The subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing period at the price disclosed on the Pricing page. Prices include VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain Premium until then.

EU / UK right of withdrawal. Under Articles 9 and 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Greek Law 2251/1994, and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance-purchased digital service. By starting your Premium subscription and using its features before the 14 days have lapsed, you expressly request immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once we have fully performed. If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal before using any Premium features, contact us at jefftherobotwizard@gmail.com within 14 days of subscribing and we will issue a refund within 14 days.

US and other consumers. We honour any non-waivable refund rights granted by your state or country of residence. Otherwise, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 30 days of a charge if you believe a refund is warranted. If your card was charged in error or your account was compromised, we will refund the affected charges in full.

Refunds outside statutory rights. Aside from the statutory rights above, monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has begun and you have used the Service. You can cancel at any time to prevent the next renewal.

Promo codes. Streamer-issued or platform-issued promo codes grant a limited Premium trial. Trials end automatically and do not auto-renew.

7. Advertising

The Service displays advertising via Google AdSense to free-tier users. Premium users do not see ads. Ad selection, measurement, and cookies are governed by Google. See our Privacy Policy for details on the cookies used and how to manage consent.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”and “as available”. We do not endorse, vet, or guarantee the safety of any promotional link submitted by other users. Visiting a winner’s link is at your own risk; your browser’s malware protection, reputation services, and your own discretion apply. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, matchmaking within any specific timeframe, or that any particular game will remain available.

This disclaimer does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory consumer-protection law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or fifty euros (€50), whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under EU and Greek consumer-protection law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time. Unused portions of paid subscriptions are non-refundable on termination for cause, subject to mandatory consumer rights.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service and, where required, you will be asked to accept the updated Terms before continuing. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live. Specifically:

  • EU / EEA consumers retain the protections of Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 and the consumer-protection laws of your country of habitual residence. You may bring a claim against us either in Greek courts or in the courts of your country of residence.
  • UK consumers retain the protections of UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and may bring proceedings in courts of England and Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland as applicable.
  • US consumers retain any non-waivable consumer-protection rights of their state of residence (including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, etc.). Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit those rights or your ability to bring small-claims actions where permitted by your state.
  • All other consumers retain any non-waivable rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.

Subject to the carve-outs above, the courts of Athens, Greece have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service.

Online dispute resolution. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can access the European Commission’s ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not required to participate in any specific consumer-arbitration scheme.
