Jeff's Fighting Game

About This Game

Jeff's Fighting Game is a classic 1v1 local versus fighter built from the ground up for the PlayToPromote arena. Inspired by the golden era of competitive fighting games, it drops two players into a beautifully animated side-scrolling arena and lets skill decide everything.

Players choose from four distinct characters, each with their own move set, range, and fighting style. The match is played as a best-of-3-rounds format — win two rounds and you claim the match, earning the right to have your promotional link shown to your opponent. Each round rewards patience and timing as much as aggression: building your energy bar through consistent attacks and blocks unlocks devastating special moves that can turn a losing round completely around.

The game runs entirely in the browser with no downloads required. It supports both keyboard and gamepad input, making it accessible whether you're on a laptop at home or a full desktop gaming setup. Matches are fast-paced, usually lasting 60–90 seconds per round, which means the action never drags and rematches are always just one click away.

Pro Tips

  • Watch your opponent's movement patterns — most players have tells before they attack.
  • Special moves are powerful but drain your energy — save them for the right moment.
  • Blocking costs no health but leaves you briefly open after a block string ends.
  • Playing defensively in round one gives you valuable information about your opponent.
